O2 looks decidedly sketchy, even in the home counties, and if you are thinking of being able to keep in contact anywhere north of Manchester, then it looks to be a bit of a lottery. Heaven forbid you wish to twitter from your iPhone in Wales – it isn’t going to happen.
Ofcom have capitulated to critics and published maps of providers coverage for their 3G products. Whilst not meant to be completely accurate, it should be taken as a truer picture than anything we have seen previously regarding coverage, and this could be quite an eye opener for you and your contract mobile.
