As a company, we’ve embarked on a transformation programme to define our vision for the future and develop the right skills and processes to deliver it. The programme will help create a sustainable transport system for Britain, with Network Rail becoming an organisation focused on delivering for passengers and freight users, seven days a week. Currently, we’re working on one of the biggest projects that this industry has ever seen: the national digital radio & fibre network programme, incorporating both Fixed Telecoms Networks (FTN) and Global System for Mobile – Railways (GSM-R). In short, it’s up to us to transform rail telecoms. Our budget is over £1.7bn. We aim to have the majority of this work completed by 2012.

To make it happen, we need the most talented and committed of people, including Project/Programme Managers, Development Managers, Programme Control Managers, Senior Commercial Managers and Telecoms/Civil Project Engineers.
