As a world renowned appliance manufacturer, our client is known for their innovative and original designs. Today, they're the number one vacuum cleaner manufacturer in the UK, US, Tokyo, Western Europe and Australasia. And they're making big strides in other countries too. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Systems Technical Support Analyst to join their team.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, in this role you'll provide extensive technical support to the Group IT Infrastructure including MPLS, firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory domains and email systems. You will also provide 3rd line support to the Service Delivery Team, and manage the technical delivery of projects using both in-house and third party resources.

As a Systems Technical Support Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the company's infrastructure, including servers, WAN, LAN and email
- Leading and managing project teams and owning core upgrade projects (such as Exchange 2003 and MPLS)
- Providing technical assistance and problem resolutions of core technologies such as Microsoft Clustering services and Microsoft Server products

To be considered for this position you must have experience with the following:

- Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003/2008
- Microsoft Exchange 2003
- Relational database administration
- TCP/IP, firewalls and VPN and WAN
- Hardware, including configuration of HP servers, SAN/NAS and Tape Library/Autoloaders

As a Systems Technical Support Analyst you will also need to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to objectives, coupled with proficient problem solving skills. Strong planning and time management skills are also key, as is the ability to work under pressure.

An MCSE and/or CCNA would be beneficial to your application, as would experience using Mimesweeper, Linux and/or SAP.
