Our client is the leading engineering software provider in the world. They are now looking to recruit a Software Quality Manager to join their team in Cambridge.

Within this role, the Software Quality Manager will establish a best-practice approach to quality to be used across all development programmes. This approach will facilitate the development and maintenance of software products which meet and exceed company and customer expectations.

The Software Quality Manager will also be responsible managing and auditing the ongoing quality processes, thereby facilitating continuous improvement. This role will require occasional travel to other sites.

To be considered for this position, the Software Quality Manager will need to demonstrate the following:

- Quality management experience within a software development environment
- Experience with iterative development methodologies such as Agile and Rational Unified Process
- Exposure to ISO9001

It is also expected that the chosen applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of the full product lifecycle, and will be familiar with processes and tools needed to support product development.

With sufficient technical ability to design, implement and maintain an intranet-based business process system, the Software Quality Manager will also be a pro-active manager who is able to motivate a team.

Candidates with experience in the marine, plant or engineering sectors are particularly welcomed to apply, though this is not an essential requirement.
