Our client is a Manchester based internet development house specialising in retail, eCommerce and business to business systems. An opportunity has now arisen for a .NET Developer to join their rapidly expanding team.

For this role our client is looking to recruit an experienced developer with proven ASP.NET and C# skills. Applications are invited from both junior and senior level developers.

As a .NET Developer, you will work on both individual and team projects, applying an innovative approach to your work. You will also be required to interact with the client to try and produce a better product than they had in mind. This role also requires sound problem solving skills and a willingness to take on responsibilities to get the job done.

As a .NET Developer, you should must have a keen interest in cutting edge internet technology and enjoy keeping up with latest technological developments to drive the company forward technologically. Willingness to blog on such subjects would be an advantage.

To be considered for this position you must have solid experience using:

- ASP.NET and C#
- MS SQL Server
- IIS

Any Oracle experience would be beneficial to your application. A BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in a computing related course and/or MCSE accreditation would be preferable.

High performance and high availability systems are our client's specialty therefore experience in these areas would be advantageous. Familiarity with performance testing tools would also be beneficial.
