Linux Systems Engineer; Kingston Upon Thames; Surrey; required to you a leading UK software house. You will have a strong background in working with Linux (Red Hat, Suse etc) / Unix skills, with excellent installation and configuration of LAMP based technologies such as Linux, Apache, PHP, JBoss and database's etc. Very good exposure to networking equipment (routers, Switches, VPN, etc, strong security knowledge and Linux OS hardening skills. A good background in the maintenance and setup of development and test platforms, system provision, dimensioning and configuration, release management, hardware and software installs in client environments, exposure to integration with multiple external systems and parties.
