Our client is a Microsoft Gold certified and Cisco certified partner specialising in supporting IT networks for businesses. An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Systems Engineer to join their team.

As an IT Systems Engineer you will be responsible for installing and maintaining servers and networks, using mainly Microsoft and Cisco solutions. Your role will be split between the office and visiting client sites in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.

This position offers the successful applicant a challenging role and a genuinely unique opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge within a company which is always at the forefront of technology.

To be considered for this position you must have:

- An MCP qualification
- Experience of supporting Microsoft server networks
- A full UK driving licence

Experience/knowledge of the following would be beneficial to your application: Server 2003/2008, MS Exchange 2003/2007, MS Business Desktop OS, Symantec Backup Exec.

The successful IT Systems Engineer will be offered training and certification in Cisco CCNA and Microsoft to MCSA level if required.

This role is part of an on-call rota in which you may be required to work evenings and weekends where overtime would be paid. This position commences in January 2010.
