Our client provides e-learning services to businesses across all industry sectors, offering their customers a one-stop development and hosting solution. They now seek to recruit an e-Learning Developer to join their team.

This is a permanent vacancy to be based in Milton Keynes, although there may be an option to work from home some of the time. Self employed applicants are preferred, although an employed basis will be considered.

Working under the direction of the Lead Consultant, the e-Learning Developer will create bespoke e-learning and learning portals for customers in both the private and public sectors. You will be tasked with producing functionally effective learning portals and informative, innovative and interactive e-Learning content.

To be considered for this position, the e-Learning Developer must have commercial experience in either web development or e-Learning systems development.

You will also require the following key skills and attributes:

- Skills in scripting languages such as PHP or ASP, CSS, Joomla, Dreamweaver, Javascript, Coldfusion and/or Flash
- Skills in SQL, MySQL or other databases
- Degree/Diploma-level qualification in web development or a related discipline
- Knowledge of web/electronic publishing, media product design principles, and multimedia/video technologies

A proven commercial background in web development or e-Learning would be a distinct advantage, as would skills e-authoring and graphics applications such as Lectora, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Presenter, Captivate, Articulate, etc.
