The Company
Our Client is a well respected and expanding Specialist Managed Services provider of entire IT infrastructures who is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager (new business and established accounts) to sell IT managed services in Staines in the South East.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager's role includes:-
* Sell Managed Service Solutions
* Sell Sun Microsystems and associated third party products with average deal sizes £50k to £250k.
* Develop new business in the South East, selling to end user organisations taking the opportunity from initial contact to negotiating and closing the sale.
* Develop and manage established accounts.
* Ensure contact is made at a senior level with key decision makers and that our client is added to the tender list for such contracts.
* Build a sales pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure that the sales target will be exceeded for the year.

The Candidate
The Business Development Manager's experience and qualifications will include:-
* Proven track record, minimum 3 years, in selling managed services.
* Commercially astute with ability to identify potential business opportunities, and ideally has contacts with end user clients.
* Experience selling Unix servers, workstations and associated products.
* Familiar with selling Sun products.
* Capable Business Development Manager with the will to win, who is tenacious especially when dealing with longer sales cycles.
* Confident personality and able to communicate and present solutions at Board Level with the ability to negotiate and close sales.
* Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver results.

The Reward
