Head of Business Information Systems - Gloucester, Gloucestershire. I have an urgent requirement for someone to Head up the Business Information Systems unit at my client's Gloucester Head office. This is a key role in the company sitting between the Directors and the IT Manager so you will need to have a good understanding of IT systems and also a good general business sense where IT strategy and project planning and delivery are concerned. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will write project submissions and reports as well as dealing with users where needed and also communicate the IT Strategy to the board and the IT Department. Any knowledge of SQL Server, SharePoint, or a programming/technical background would be useful although not essential. This role will have overall responsibility for the IT department and strategy going forward so is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leader in their field.
