£30,000 - £35,000 Plus Bonus and Excellent Benefits Package

Our client is a global organisation, providing world-class information solutions for drug and chemical development. Their customer base is drawn from the world's leading pharmaceutical, chemical and contract research organisations and their solutions are used by over 50 of the world's leading global research & development companies. An opportunity has now arisen for a Client Relationship Manager to join their team.

This a high profile and influential position within a fast paced and exciting team, working side by side with the Sales team and many members of their Client Services, Product Management and Executive management teams. This role can be based in the company's Liverpool or Stone office.

As a Client Relationship Manager you will play a key role, developing relationships with existing clients and gaining referrals with the ultimate aim of improving relationships, gaining references and increasing revenue. Your focus will be on discussing your client's needs and seeing whether our client can deliver additional services. International travel will be required.

Because you will be dealing with companies from the IT, Life Science and/ or Pharmaceutical industry, it is essential that you have experience or extensive knowledge in at least one of these industries.

Your main duties will include:

- Assuming responsibility for the overall relationship with the client - acting as the 'face' and 'voice' of the company
- Increasing customer satisfaction
- Proactively increasing customer contact which will lead to ideas, leads, references, client knowledge
- Ensuring annual fees are paid on time

To be considered for this position you must have experience in a similar client relationship management role and have IT, Life Science and/ or Pharmaceutical industry experience or knowledge. You will also need to demonstrate a solid track record of working to targets.

As a Client Relationship Manager, you should also be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach to your work. You must also be highly organised, with a positive nature.
