Enterprise software maker SAP is committed to a strategy of delivering softare on-premise, on-demand and on-device.

Sustainablity is also another element of the software maker's internal business and go-to-market strategy.

Software applications within SAP's sustainabilty suite such as carbon impact, sustainability management, and environment, health and safety (EHS) management have been enabled for use on-device.

According to Peter Graf, chief sustainability officer at SAP, having sustainability data on-device enables users to answer any questions in the field by having access to source data.

"By linking to the real data in the system means you can go deeper than any printed report," he said.
