Gartner predicts that by 2020 there will be more than 20 billion connected devices, opening up huge opportunities for organisations. Those who have already adopted and integrated IoT into their business processes now see it as a must-have. However, successfully adopting IoT technologies will require new skills, training and the right culture to ensure the entire organisation is on board.
