Video review: HP Pavilion Chromebook
The Pavilion Chromebook is HP's cheapest full-sized laptop. The device requires an internet connection and a Google account.
Udi Nachmany, senior product manager at HP, said: "Our strategy has been to come in with a full-size laptop device based on the Chrome OS. It offers an HD screen, web cam and HDMI port. These represent the typical spec of a Windows 8 machine."
Although the Chromebook is primarily a device for the home market, Nachmany said there has been a lot of interest in the business sector, particularly in education and smaller businesses.
