Over 1400 of the great and good of Europe’s IT
industry gathered at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to see who
would win one of the most coveted accolades in the
business.
The
BCS IT Industry Awards2007 brought
together for the first time the British Computer Society, the
National Computing Centre and Intellect in recognising the
contribution made by the IT profession to economic prosperity,
business efficiency and public services.
The awards also combined theBCS Information Management
Awardsand theBCS IT Professional awardsinto a single event and were open to projects and
individuals working in information technology based in or operating
mainly from companies located in the UK or Europe.
Over 200 entrants were competing for individual,
organisational and project excellence awards in 23
categories.
