
E-Crime Project head, Detective Superintendent Charlie McMurdie
of the Metropolitan Police talks to web editor James Garner at
Infosecurity 2008 about her confidence that the project to
establish a national e-crime unit for the UK will soon receive
funding and the official go-ahead. She discusses the path so
far including the establishment of business cases and links with
international partners, and the knowledge and expertise that IT
security professionals can contribute to the cause.
