To celebrate the "one year to go" anniversary before the London 2012 Olympic Games, Computer Weekly talked to one of the great British Olympians - 400m silver medallist in the 1996 Atlanta Games, Roger Black - about how excitement is building and the important role that technology plays for the athletes preparing for the UK's biggest ever sporting event.

Computer Weekly editor in chief Bryan Glick also talked to Neil Crockett, London 2012 director at Cisco Systems, about the supplier's role in supporting the IT that will be essential for a successful London Olympics.
