Government IT has hardly been out of the headlines in recent months with personal data going missing and laptops being stolen.

But despite these difficulties the Government is keen to improve its IT services and infrastructure to provide better public services.

We talked to the Government’s chief information officer at the cabinet office John Suffolk about the Government’s approach to IT at the Government IT 08 conference in London last week.
