Wife severs husband’s ties to the internet

Internet addiction remains a controversial topic. There is little agreement on the nature of the problem and even less agreement on how it should be treated.
However, Chinese housewife He Ling has found rather a fine solution. Faced with the problem of getting her husband, Jiang Ming, to spend more time at home and less time in the local internet cafe, she simply chopped off his right hand.
"I was on the internet, and suddenly felt a numbness in my right hand. The arrow on the screen stopped moving and I saw my hand bleeding on the mousepad," Jiang Ming told a local newspaper.
