The UK business e-mail users most targeted by spammers are in Egham, Surrey.
MessageLabs, the business messaging provider, has published statistics showing which UK towns and cities are targeted with the most spam e-mails.
The figures, calculated on a spam-per-business user basis, reveal the worst place is Egham in Surrey, with Alton and Petersfield in Hampshire following closely behind.
The ten most spammed places for business users:

3 - Petersfield, Hampshire
4 - Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
5 - Sutton, Surrey
6 - Macclesfield, Cheshire
7 - Dundee, Scotland
8 - Bradford, West Yorkshire
9 - Colchester, Essex
10 - St Peter's Port, Guernsey
According to MessageLabs statistics, business users in Egham are each sent an average of 189 spam e-mails per day, with users in Alton and Petersfield targeted with an average of 167 and 116 spam e-mails per day respectively.
The geographical spread of places affected is also clear, with the Midlands, North West, Yorkshire, Scotland and even St Peter's Port in the Channel Islands represented.
But none of the UK's biggest cities appeared inside the top 25, with London ranking 28th, Manchester 81st, Leeds 91st, Liverpool 99th Newcastle 166th and Bristol 167th.
There is good news for some people in Hampshire however, as Fareham on the south coast of the UK proved to be the spammers' least favourite choice of location. Business users in the town are sent only two spam emails per week.
Farnborough, also in Hampshire, and Guildford in Surrey were also highlighted in the top three least targeted locations.
