Microsoft is expected this week to reorganise its entertainment and devices division, which is responsible for Xbox games, mobile phone and other consumer devices, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The revamp comes in the wake of losses in market share, notably to the Wii in games and to Google's Android and Apple's iPhone in mobile phone operating systems. It also follows the cancellation of Microsoft's tablet computer system, the Courier.
Microsoft declined to comment.
