Global roofing company lowers the cost ceiling with data management tools

Roofing and construction group Icopal has begun deploying a range of SAP-integrated paperless technology tools, including systems for archiving, delivery tracking, data capture and document authorisation, to improve efficiencies across its global business.

Chris Finnerty, Icopal's company secretary, said the software, from Version One, was expected to save the firm at least £100,000 in its first year by reducing stationery, printing, postage and document storage costs.
