The implementation includes petrol stations Somerfield will be acquiring from Texaco and Fuelforce. Both the Iridium and the Prism systems will be integrated with Somerfield's head office IT.

The retailer has also signed a deal with Reichle & De-Massari Cabling Systems as part of a major programme to update its stores' infrastructure. The company intends 200 stores to be fitted with new cabling this year.
