Missing Link Communications is a networking specialist
established in 1997. It builds both wide and local area networks
for small and medium sized clients. It designed and implemented a
WAN for Blackwell’s bookshops, for example, and at JJB Sports’
upgraded its infrastructure, implementing high-speed switches,
application servers, firewalls, wireless warehousing and an email
system.
Missing Link has a growing customer base and is implementing
remote applications management. It is increasingly making use of
the Internet in the corporate networks it builds for its customers
and the Internet delivers benefits of cost and flexibility but
there is a downside: it can be difficult to control the quality of
the service that the Internet provides.

could share its philosophy of delivering a high standard of service
and that could also provide a view through the ‘cloud’.
