If Oracle succeeds in its hostile $5.1bn bid to acquire PeopleSoft, the deal could have a ripple effect on vendor partners.
BEA Systems, for one, has PeopleSoft as a customer for BEA's WebLogic Server application server and Tuxedo transaction monitor.

PeopleSoft has rejected Oracle's $5.1bn offer.
