Colgate-Palmolive has deployed almost the entire SAP suite, according to SAP's latest results report for the second quarter ending 30 June.

The report cites the Colgate agreement as a "major milestone" of the second quarter and says the "vast majority" of Colgate's business is being supported by SAP software.

"With this agreement, SAP and Colgate document their mutual interest to continue their highly successful journey to an enterprise-service enabled destination architecture at Colgate," the report said. SAP has been a strategic software partner of Colgate's since 1994.

In 2002, Colgate announced a major agreement with IBM to supply the infrastructure that powers Colgate-Palmolive's critical business operations, beginning with its global SAP applications in 51 countries.
