Three large Oracle user groups are getting together to host a single education and technical event in the US next year.

The International Oracle Users Group (IOUG), representing mainly Oracle database users, is joining forces with the Oracle Applications Users Group and the Quest International Users Group to stage the event.

Quest represents PeopleSoft and JD Edwards users, but after Oracle acquired these products with the takeover of PeopleSoft, the three organisations are seeking to bring users together for a bigger user event.

The new Collaborate 06 event take place on 23-27 April 2006 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville.

The event will be open to all Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards applications and database users.
