Telelogic has extended its Synergy product line of development tools with the launch of CM Synergy, Release 6.3 and ChangeSynergy, Release 4.3.
Telelogic's products help development teams around the world who may have to cope with a 12-hour time difference between locations.
Synergy supports global development by keeping physical repositories in different locations in sync, letting remote teams work together as though they are in one large database.
ChangeSynergy manages changes requests, enabling it to track user-submitted problem reports and enhancement requests through ChangeSynergey's Web interface. Advanced reporting is also provided. CM Synergy manages versions of source code, enabling development of large systems with thousands of files.
ChangeSynergy and CM Synergy are integrated for traceability from a change request to the code that implements the change, enabling tracking of software changes back to the customer who requested it.
Version 6.3 features ActiveCM, for monitoring the file system and saving user changes into the CM Synergy repository.
Synergy pricing begins at $1,500 for a single user for a per-user CM Synergy LT (Light) licence, scaling to $3,090 per user for a Distributed Synergy Suite Licence, or $6,680 for concurrent, floating Distributed Synergy Suite licences.
