International finance company Credit Suisse is to implement Software AG’s Centrasite service oriented architecture governance system.
Credit Suisse hopes Centrasite will help it to uncouple existing applications from each other, to increase flexibility.
The first phase of the change is due to be completed by September 2007. Eventually, the company plans to use Centrasite as the central repository for its SOA applications worldwide, replacing its existing proprietary arrangements.
“We evaluated more than 10 SOA governance solutions, ultimately selecting Centrasite,” said Andreas Kurmann, director of special projects at Credit Suisse.
“We were convinced by the product’s rich functionality and high level of maturity. Both show that Software AG understands the requirements for building and running a service oriented architecture.”
