Applied Voice & Speech Technologies (AVST), a provider of data communications technology, is shipping a bundled, all-in-one voice and data communications platform.
The new telephony server product line is designed both for small to medium-sized businesses and enterprise-size deployments. The Callxpress T-2000 telephony server includes a unified communications application, a Dialogic voice card or voice over IP integration server, and Windows operating system.
The telephony server is configured as an entry-level server with four voicemail ports that can be expanded to 48 ports supporting about 2,500 users.
The company has also introduced two high-end bundles, the Callxpress I-4000 and the Callxpress I-6000 telephony servers, aimed at medium to large enterprises. These servers are based on dual Xeon processors, pre-configured RAID1, and redundant hot swap power supplies and cooling fans.
The Callxpress I-4000 supports up to 120 ports with 10,000 users, and the Callxpress I-6000 supports up to 192 ports with 20,000 users. Available in a rack mount form, both servers enable IT managers to save space by stacking the servers and using a single mouse, monitor and keyboard, AVST said.
