With cybercrime on the increase and all too often an inside job, two UK technology companies have joined forces to develop a way for companies not only to find out the culprits but to prove it more easily in court too.

IT security specialist 3ami and storage specialist BridgeHead Software have unveiled a program, called Monitoring, Audit & Security, that monitors and records every keystroke and action performed at any PC in an organisation - which may subsequently provide legally admissible proof of wrongdoing.

Research from the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit shows that more than half of all acts of sabotage and data theft are carried out within an organisation.
