IT people are getting extra opportunities to get together through an expansion of the BCS network.

IT people are getting extra opportunities to get together through an expansion of the BCS network.

Three branches have been revived, two new sub-branches are being set up and two new overseas sections have been established.

The Merseyside branch and East Anglia branch have already started holding meetings again, and the Chester and North Wales Branch is also on the way to a revival.

Sub-branches are being formed in Jersey and Guernsey and a second overseas section has been established in Canada.

Another overseas section is being set up in Singapore.

This activity will take the number of UK branches to almost 40 and the number of overseas sections to seven.

Events are usually open to anyone with an interest in IT.
