The defence contractor will spend $66m with HP over the next decade to improve its IT infrastructure and related services. It already had an agreement with HP and the renewal will see the manufacturer and maintainer of nuclear warheads receive hardware, software and services from HP.
HP will provide workplace services to manage and support all AWE 7000 users across its sites. These services will include asset management, licence management and procurement of computing devices.
The contract, which also includes a PC refresh programme, will see HP software rolled out.
