Henkel, a manufacturing company whose brands include Persil, is rolling out electronic recruitment software from Jobpartners across Europe in a move designed to shorten the time it takes to hire staff and reduce recruitment costs.
The Activerecruiter software would provide candidates with an easy and accessible way of applying for vacancies, develop a talent pool of individuals who may wish to work with Henkel in the future, and encourage internal mobility, the company said.
Initially the system will be rolled out to Henkel sites across 17 European countries, with a global roll-out to follow.
"With more than 50,000 employees in over 125 countries, recruitment is a constant challenge," said Markus Dinslacken, corporate recruitment manager and project manager at Henkel.
"Activerecruiter will be implemented to streamline our entire recruitment process worldwide and to provide us with an innovative tool for finding, hiring and tracking the best candidate fits for our organisation."
According to Dinslacken, the system will enable Henkel to strengthen its employer brand and help the company to be viewed as an employer of choice internationally.
Activerecruiter is replacing SAP's E-Recruiting tool.
