BP extends card processing deal with Atos Origin

Antony Savvas

BP has extended its contract with Atos Origin covering card processing services.

Atos Worldline, an Atos Origin Company, will process BP's card transactions including credit, debit, loyalty, fuel and charge cards, as well as manual voucher-processing services.

The contract marks an extension to the services that Atos Worldline has been delivering to BP since 1991.

The scope of services covers the polling of transaction data and downloading of Hot Card files to and from EFTPOS equipment at BP's UK service stations.

This includes the secure download and transfer of financial transactions and customer loyalty data.

Atos Worldline also provides a service desk to support BP sites in resolving issues, such as transaction rejection and reconciliation queries.
