The BCS Requirements Engineering Specialist Group is running an event to explore new challenges arising from service-centric systems.
The event, on 7 March at City University, London, will draw on the experience of large service-based system development projects and the latest research.
- Issues under review will include:
- Consumers purchasing services that execute remotely, rather than components that execute locally
- Service discovery as a computational activity that may be performed under the control of an analyst at design time, or performed automatically at run-time
Service specification and discovery protocols capturing no semantics or quality information.
