The Ajilon Group, which includes a number of recruitment and consulting businesses such as Office Angels and Computer People, has appointed Email Systems to filter the e-mail of its 1,300 staff.

Ajilon brought in Email Systems after finding that its proprietary content management system could not cope against spam, with unsolicited e-mails outnumbering legitimate messages.

Since employing Email Systems, Ajilon says the amount of spam reaching inboxes has been reduced from more than two-thirds of messages to virtually zero.

Helen Ackroyd, Ajilon group business services director, comments, “In a short space of time our corporate e-mail has reverted from being blighted by time and bandwidth-sapping constraints to being clean, effective and worry-free, as it should be.”
