BorderWare Technologies has released a tool for businesses seeking to mitigate the risk of unanticipated e-mail disruptions.
The benchmark provider of messaging security solutions has launched MXtreme High Availability Load Optimisation Cluster, a series of multi-unit offerings of the company's e-mail firewall solutions.
The series uses a failsafe clustering architecture for high availability, allowing two or more MXtreme appliances to act as a single logical unit for processing e-mail messages. It supports high availability through security, cluster management, load balancing and optimisation, and stateful failover.
A cluster of two or more MXtreme appliances allows the messages in the queue of one system to be mirrored on another system, ensuring that no e-mail is lost should one of the systems fail.
