Maxtor widens storage server support offering

Maxtor, a supplier of information storage solutions, has extended its range of service and support offerings for the MaxAttach family of storage servers.

On-site field services in the UK, France and Germany and global lifetime 24/7 telephone technical support on the MaxAttach NAS 4100, 4300 and 6000 storage servers will now be included in its services offerings.

Didier Trassaert, European vice president, said: "Our new on-site service and support, combined with the MaxAttach robust platform design, extend our storage system offerings into the enterprise market. We are committed to meeting our customers' support needs for executing mission-critical applications."

The recent MaxAttach NAS 6000 includes one-year, next business day, on-site field service as a standard feature and is extendable for up to three years.

Premium field service upgrades for the MaxAttach NAS 4100, 4300 and 6000 include four-hour response times, extended service contracts and an installation service.

Maxtor distributors in the UK include Tech Data UK, Enta Technologies and Ingram Micro.
