Citrix announces advanced virtualisation certifications for engineers
Citrix Systems has announced its advanced certifications are now available to engineers and architects. The certifications are the Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) for Virtualisation and Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Virtualisation.

VMware releases vSphere 4.1
VMware has unveiled the anticipated vSphere 4.1, which can support up to 3,000 VM's per cluster and 1,000 hosts per vCenter server. Both of these features are roughly three times the limit available in vSphere 4.0. The number of VM's per data centre can now reach 5,000 -- twice the previous limit. NetApp integrates with Microsoft Dynamic Data Centre Toolkit for cloud hosters
Storage vendor NetApp has announced its integration with the Microsoft Dynamic Data Centre Toolkit to deliver data protection solutions to cloud service providers. The Toolkit offers sample code for building cloud services powered by Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and the Microsoft System Center Suite.
Service provider Interxion has announced that it is offering access to the European Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) - BATS Europe. Interxion claims BATS Europe's system latency averages 350 microseconds. Access to the BATS Europe MTF is available from Interxion's City of London data centre.
EasyVista offers EasyVista Analytics service
IT service management firm EasyVista has launched its EasyVista Analytics service. The complimentary service, for EasyVista.com's Software as a Service customers, is designed to aid businesses in running their ITSM operations, by predicting potential issues that may impact the business and providing detailed reports.
