Over the past few weeks we have been talking to our 60 large enterprise customers in Europe and Asia-Pacific about software purchasing patterns.

Generally they are happy with their software suppliers' deals, but strongly resent any loss of control over how they run their IT operations.

They are pragmatic about software procurement, which should hearten the xSP community.

The good news is that the market opportunity is still huge!
