Media personality Sandi Toksvig and tribute band Abba Gold will feature at the BCS annual dinner, a prestige black-tie event, on 20 November in central London.

The occasion offers an opportunity to meet members of the IT industry informally and for companies to entertain guests at corporate tables. The evening, hosted by new BCS president Wendy Hall, includes a drinks reception and dinner with wines.

Guest speaker Sandi Toksvig was an original member of the Comedy Store Players. Her credits range from Whose Line Is It Anyway? to I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and Points of View.

The event will be held at the Inter-Continental Hotel at Hyde Park Corner. Corporate tables for 10 people are available for £1,880. Companies get a listing on the BCS website, with the option of a web link, plus exposure on the night and a free advertisement in the commemorative programme, which each guest receives.

Individual places cost £99 to BCS members and their guests and £188 to others.
