Energis provided hosting and streaming technology for the GlobalFlyer, which last Thursday night successfully achieved the fastest solo non-stop, non-refuelled circumnavi-gation of the globe.

Pilot Steve Fossett was in the air for under 80 hours, covered more than 23,000 miles and reached speeds of about 250 knots (285mph).

The site (http://www.globalflyer.com) provided streaming live video feeds from four separate locations, including mission control, mixed live and archive feeds of events from the airfield and aircraft itself, and live up to the minute tracking.
