IT recruitment company to walk for charity

Staff at Burgess Hill-based IT contract recruitment company, Capital Software, are to participate in an 84 mile relay walk this weekend to raise funds for charity.

The two-day event, which takes place along the South Downs Way, will see four company teams of at least four walkers each, cover the 84-mile route. Other Capital employees will participate by walking short distances or by completing some of the course on bikes or on horseback.

"We wanted something that was a challenge, fun and significant," explains agency boss Karen Silk. "With this project we think we have achieved that."

As part of its "Millennium Charity" initiative, Capital Software has so far raised over £3,000 for children's charities such as Comic Relief. Donations can be made by calling 01444 235 577.
