IBM to buy Schlumberger’s continuity sites and reshape market

IBM has agreed to buy Schlumberger’s Business Continuity Services unit. The deal is a good one for IBM, and reduces uncertainty for Schlumberger customers. But it challenges Hewlett-Packard (HP) and others.
