End-to-end business intelligence
The traditional classifications of business intelligence software are changing.
Business Objects' recent acquisition of Acta is another example of the trend within business intelligence vendors to offer complete end-to-end solutions. While the 1990s were full of "marketing" partnerships that meant little more than the paper the press release was written on, the 2000s have seen a number of acquisitions and new products that have changed the traditional landscape of business intelligence.
