Disability group hits the road

The potential of IT to help disabled people will be demonstrated in a series of roadshows by the BCS Disability Group.

The first event, in Liverpool on 25 September, will feature software and hardware that enables disabled people to use IT and talks on support for employers taking on disabled staff. It will also provide information about the BCS' IT-Can-Help Network, which puts people in touch with IT volunteers.

Other roadshows will be held in York on 7 October, Sheffield on 8 October, Kings Lynn on 29 October, Newcastle on 12 November and London on 10 December.
