Case study: Coface’s EasyNumber uses CloudView to access 100 million business profiles

Coface Services and CreditReform, Europe’s number one credit management service provider, decided to join forces to develop a universal tool for identifying and researching companies worldwide. This new service, EasyNumber, would provide online access to detailed profiles of companies around the globe, helping Coface’s clients better identify and assess the credit worthiness of potential partners, suppliers and customers.

Coface Services and CreditReform, Europe’s number one credit management service provider, decided to join forces to develop a universal tool for identifying and researching companies worldwide. This new service, EasyNumber, would provide online access to detailed profiles of companies around the globe, helping Coface’s clients better identify and assess the credit worthiness of potential partners, suppliers and customers.

EasyNumber would be built from Coface Services’ existing risk database, which was used primarily by internal staff and underwriting partners, and accessed via a search tool developed in-house. Coface and CreditReform would collaborate to expand the number and scope of available business profiles, then Coface would extend access to its clients worldwide. “We wanted to offer our clients reliable, up-to-date information on any business, anywhere in the world. And we wanted accessing that information to be as simple and fast as running a query on a public Web search engine,” states Jean-Luc Brizard, CIO for Coface Services.
