BCS votes in two vice-presidents

Two senior IT industry people have been elected to top BCS volunteer posts.

Brian Collins has become BCS vice-president of external relations. He is a director of Europim Consulting and chairs the industry panel of charity organisation the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.

Allan Fox is the BCS vice-president for engineering and technology and will chair the engineering and technology forum. He retired from his post as technology vice-president at Nortel Networks' Harlow Laboratory with the honorary title of Nortel Networks fellow emeritus.
