Oracle has released Oracle CRM On Demand Release 15, which should boost customers' productivity.

Oracle CRM On Demand Release 15 comes with social networking and other collaboration capabilities.

The social CRM feature enables users to become more productive in their jobs through collaborative applications, Oracle said.

These applications become "smarter" by using the collective intelligence of social networks, and which work both within and outside the barriers of companies, Oracle said.

Enhanced collaboration in Oracle's new product is driven by the combination of Sticky Notes and the Message Center. These allow back-and-forth commentary that is up to date, consolidated, centralised, and easily accessible and viewable through a home page.

For example, team members can subscribe to sticky notes, creating a social network that is associated with an opportunity where all members of the network are kept up to date simultaneously.

Oracle has also widened Oracle CRM On Demand support for the Blackberry mobile messaging platform to support sales efforts.
